Good morning!!!!

I really wanted to sleep in this morning, but for some reason I woke up earlier, and I just decided to get up and get going. WHY not? There's always tomorrow to sleep in, right?!
SO, I rode the bike for 30 minutes and 5 1/2 miles, and I am on page 130 of Twilight.
The book has a little bit of a slow pace, but my experience with most first novels, especially in a series, it takes a bit to get going. But, I have also only been reading little snippets as I ride each morning.
I figure this next week I will be able to get some quality reading and riding time in. But, my goal is at least 15 minutes of riding a day. I have now accomplished 12 days in a row!!!
I was inspired by that article I posted earlier about doing something "little" for thirty days and seeing what kind of results come about.
Yesterday I went to buy pants, as I needed a new pair of black jeans for the show. I didn't have a lot of time, so I was torn between grabbing a size 18 or size 20, since I knew I couldn't go try them on.
I finally decided on the 20 because I was feeling like my size 18 were a little snugger through the holidays, and those pants are worn, so I figured they had stretched out.
Well, the size 20 pants are WAY too big!!! I was pulling them up all night, and I didn't have a belt. Good news!
My plan is to go back, and since I really like the style of the pants, I am going to buy a pair of 18 and pair of 16 pants.
I really also want to weigh in, but life is too hectic this weekend, so I am thinking it will probably be on Monday after my massage appointment :)
Hope your weekend rocks! Do something "little" today, just for 15 minutes. You won't regret it!!

Still going strong

I got up exhausted this morning, but I still rode the bike and read for 15 minutes, and just under 3 miles.
I had a bunch of things I needed to organize, so I didn't have as long as I would've liked to ride. BUT, I did ride.
And, every little bit counts, right?!
     Happy Friday!!!

Sooooo tired! Snooze button?

NO WAY!!! I am on a roll!!! I did ride this morning for 3 miles, 17 minutes, and more pages in the book, which is getting better!
Thankfully I kicked the headache, but BOY oh BOY I am tired!!!!
I am hoping that once the play is over I can start some other exercise in the afternoons :)
I am VERY much looking forward to my massage next week!!!!
I also want to weigh, maybe on Sunday!

Headache can't keep me away!

I woke up with a headache today. Grrrr. That has not happened in a long time. I really, really, really, really did not want to get up and ride.
I did, though. I grabbed some Tylenol, water, and started riding.
Soon the cat was in my lap. He's such a funny kitty. He rode with me for a mile or so, and then became bored.
My head is still in pain...sinus (like I have time for a sinus infection right now).
I rode 3 miles, 17 minutes, and I am on page 70 of the Twilight book (which is still pretty good so far).
I feel good that I still worked up a sweat, and that I just didn't stay in bed. Now, I just wish my headache would go away!

8th day in a row!

Today I did NOT want to get up and ride the bike!!! But, I did, and I am glad.
I did ride for the first five minutes with my eyes closed, LOL.
Then I had to ride with the kitty. He wanted me to hold and love on him.
I did get to finally read a bit of the book, and so far it's pretty good.
I rode for 18 minutes and 3 miles. Not so bad, huh?!

Another ride

This morning I was up and at it again! I rode for 20 minutes, 3.5 miles, and I am not sure how many pages, but a lot.
I finally broke down, and I am reading Twilight! All my kiddos rave about it, so I decided to buy it back in early December. Now I finally have time to read it.
It's actually pretty good, and it's based in Washington, over near Port Angeles. That's cool.
Today makes the seventh day in a row that I have been on my bike, and it feels good.
So, how long until something becomes a habit? How come it seems so easy to have a bad habit? LOL!
Have a great Monday...remember you only have 52 Mondays a year, so make the best of this one!

Just exercised!!!

I just rode the bike for 50 minutes, 9 miles, and 63 pages of the book, which I finished :)
I already have the next book ready, and I am excited to get up early tomorrow and ride!!
This will be an exceptionally busy week, and I am planning on geting up each morning early to ride the bike.
I am so glad that I am back on the bike :)

31 days

So, I found this cool article. CAUTION: It's actually a slideshow, so it works best to read each mini-story if you pause the slideshow right off the bat.

The premise is trying something small for 31 days to see what sort of impact it will make. In the big scheme of things in our life 31 days is teeny tiny, right?!

Check it out here!

Busy morning, but don't despair!

My TO DO list this morning was rather large, and now it's dwindled down to just a few things to be added to tomorrow's TO DO list, right?!
I just rode the bike for 36 minutes, 6.75 miles, and 38more pages of the book. I only have 63 pages left, and I won't read the book unless I am riding, so it motivates me to exercise!
It was much later than I have exercised all week, but that's OK, I still manage to get my ride in!!
I feel like I have no time to read (something I love to do) or exercise, so it works out SUPER to just do both at the same time :)
Five days and counting, WOO HOO!

My bike keeps the cat's curiousity!

Howdy! Today I woke up even a little bit earlier, CRAZY! Maybe that means I am getting better sleep through the night. I am definitely not feeling as tired as I was feeling.
This morning I rode the bike for 25 minutes, 4 miles, and 33 pages!! I got off a little earlier than I planned, so I could jump in the shower sooner.
It's quite comical trying to ride the bike when Frankie Doodle (our cat) wants to attack the pedal each time it goes around, LOL!
     Happy Friday :)
