Recipes

A new goal for me is to blog my recipes, and particularly figure out the calories for the entire dish, and break it down for a serving!

MINI-TACO BAKES I got this indea on Pinterest :))
Sorry the pics are kinda blurry, but you get the idea!

wonton wrappers- 6 wonton wrappers - 320 calories for 3 taco bakes
ground beef- 164 calories for 3 ounces - I used a pound total
cheese - 110 calories- 1/4 cup for 3 taco bakes
and whatever taco toppings you like: lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, etc.

594 calories for 3 taco bakes
or 198 each
You could go with just 1 wonton wrapper for each one, but I like doing two, which would make each taco bake 144 calories.

So, you cook up your ground beef. I spray a muffin tin. Then you take two wonton wrappers (can find these near the bag salad)and I layer them on top of each other, but making it look like a star--tilting one wrapper to the side. Spoon in the hamburger meat, and cheese. Then you cook on 375 for 8 minutes! Add whatever you want!

YUP!!! Quick and easy :) I love them because they taste fried--almost like fried burritos, but they are baked! It's the texture that I dig :))

SUPER Easy Cheesy Lasagna

6 lasagna noodles - don't cook them
11/2 jar or can of your favorite spaghetti sauce
1 small container of ricotta cheese
8 slices of provolone cheese
1 pound of lean ground beef (that's what I am using for this recipe, but sometimes I use ground pork or ground turkey)
1 cup of shredded cheese

Set oven to 375

spread out 1 cup of sauce in the bottom of a pan
lay down 4 noodles
spread out 1 cup of sauce on top of the noodles
next layer the ricotta cheese
add meat
add slices of provolone
1 cup of sauce
4 more noodles
1 cup of sauce
shredded cheese
cover with foil- I spray it down with Pam to keep the cheese from sticking

Cook for 1 hour!

SUPER easy and super cheesy!
