Lions, Tigers, BEARS...Oh my!

Let me just say...AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I love vacation, and I feel so relaxed right now!!
We have had such a SUPER trip!! We started out staying at a cabin at Three Forks, Montana. I think what I love the most is how much history and beauty we have so close to home.
Then we headed down to a lake and stayed at a resort for three days with Rick's brother and his family.
Each day we headed off to explore Yellowstone, and we saw sooooo many animals including bears (two different ones in the wild, but really close to us), elk (with some of the most gi-normous antlers I have ever witnessed), tons of birds (several eagles), bison, and lots of little vermin type animals, too.
My most favorite excursion is when we all went to the Boiling River which sits at the 45th Parallel (exactly halfway between the equator and the North Pole), and we lounged around in the hots springs for hours. That was totally relaxing and rejuvenating, too!
We saw lots of cool geo-thermal activity and just amazing nature...lots of waterfalls and cool rock formations and geysers (yes, of course, Old Faithful).
We ate healthy, and we did TONS of walking!!!! I feel really healthy right now!
On the way to Salt Lake, we stayed just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. What a beautiful place.
I will forever hold in my heart the awe inspiring beauty of the Grand Teton Mountains. SIGH.
We are now in Salt Lake City with relatives, and today we had a girls' day and Shelley and I went to have our pedicures (all that camping and hiking was tough on the feet).
I just love all of this nature and all of this family time!!! This is a TRUE vacation!
And, last night Shell and I went for a beautiful walk up a hill that then had the most incredible view of Salt Lake City! Breathtaking!!
OH!! I almost forgot!! We went to Cabela's in Lehi. WHAT a store!!
Life is happy and balanced RIGHT now!
My only stress is my oldest home alone...SIGH. Does anyone out there relate to the 18-year-old knows everything syndrome??
And, he just dropped the bomb that he will be leaving before August is over for boot camp. DOUBLE SIGH.
Not sure when we are heading out and exactly where we are going, but... I will keep you updated as much as possible.

I would really appreciate it if you would not post pictures of my daughter on the internet! I would appreciate it if you would choose another photo.

Thank you.

LOVE the photo! It's so nice to read about all of the exciting, beautiful things available through nature that you and your family have experienced. I love that your blogs are so personal. You have a way of pulling all of us in and making us feel like 'family', too. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

I can tell that you're an AWESOME mom - everything you do is centered around your kids. This photo is just one more example. Thanks, Trisha!!!

Thank you, Trisha, this photo is more appropriate, I guess. I would believe that I would have been more understanding if permission was asked. We have been through this before...I wouldn't post picture of your boys without your permission. I would like the same respect when it comes to Sarah. That is what being an "awesome" mom is about, respect for others.

Stepharella,

It looks like Dad is on this vacation - and even in this photo. Remember - there are two birth parents involved in this little girl's life. Are you trying to imply that you have more rights than her father? Do you have a relationship with Trisha's boys that is in the same context as Trisha has with this little girl? Bad choice of comparison.

If you have such a problem with this blog why are you reading it so much throughout the day? You seem to be obsessed. The readers of this blog enjoy Trisha and love her very much. If we didn't like her we wouldn't read the blog. So...why are you reading it???

By the way - nice of you to supply your daughter's name. If you're so worried about privacy issues why are you posting her name?

Sounds like you need to STUFFarella your thoughts and get a life!

Sounds like Stepharella is sticking up for herself and her young daughter and Trisha is stepping on some toes. Who cares how often this blog is read, it was innappropriate. I would expect the "dad" to contact the real mom and discuss it with her. Trisha isn't married to the dad or even living with him. It sounds to me like Trisha doesn't give the real mother respect she deserves as she is a wonderful person and great mother doing what is best for her little girl. I would be upset at Trisha and the other comments. I don't think Stepharella is going to be reading anymore of this as it is very juvinelle but by gosh, someone needs to stick up for the girl. After seeing and dealing with Trisha and then reading what she writes, I believe bi-polar is a word she should review. She surely doesn't act in person like she portrays herself on this blog.

how dare you say that about Trisha!! At least she does something to make a difference in people's lives!! What gives you any right to insult her on her own blog!! Yes she is all about her famiy and whatever anyone says she just posted a picture of someone who she considers her family too. so why don't you and Stepharella go read some other blog because everyone else wrote those mean things because we all love Trisha and what she's doing so of course we felt insulted when someone comes on here and leaves a nasty message like that to the public instead of giving her a call!! Talk about Juvenille!! Leave this blog page to the people who actually read it everytime she blogs and care about Trisha!! We'll stick up for her anytime, anyday!!

Well said!!!

To the person who wrote those horrible words:

Doing what is “best for her little girl” is printing her name??? Really???

Juvenile is “immature or childish” as defined by Encarta Dictionary. Slander (which by the way can be punishable by law) is “the act of saying something false or malicious that damages somebody’s reputation.” (Encarta Dictionary) It seems to me that whoever wrote the slanderous comment above needs to be ‘reviewing’ those terms.

By the way, the correct spelling is “inappropriate,” which is what you were.

I agree with the last comment - get off of the blog page if you don't like Trisha. And don't be messing with the people who love her!!!

stepharella... I do not know if you realize that you graduated (I am assuming) from high school years ago. Save the drama for your mama.

Trisha is trying to have fun on vacation, let her! Stepharella , your daughter is with her father let them have some time together as a family. If you keep this bickering up, the only person you are going to hurt is your daughter. If you cared about her, you would let little things go. I bet you are a good mother, and I bet Trisha is a good mother too. How imature to go to her blog and post a comment, give her a call instead and take care of personal manners personally not for the whole world to view. Finally GROW UP!!! Stay out of her life she deserves some peace every once and a while, just like you do!
